Lakewood Theatre Company will hold auditions for the Tennessee Premiere of “Come Sing Jimmy Jo” the New Bluegrass\Country Musical based on the book by Katherine Paterson, author of Bridge to Terabithia. The music composed by Nashville’s own Mark J Thomas.  Main characters include the young boy Jimmy Jo age 8 to 16, his parents, and his grandmother.  There are several adult roles for ages 20 to 60. Also a teenage African American male is needed.  Please prepare a 16 bar up-tempo song or ballad, and plan to sing as a group also. Musicians are also needed, please contact the theatre if you have questions or need to set up a time for your audition.
