Barbi Pearl (“Aida Gianelli”) is back on the Lakewood stage since her roles in Cemetery Club and Picnic a few years back and her assistant directorship for Father of the Bride.  Barbi was very active in a theatre group in the Boston area for many years and performed in Steel Magnolias, To Jillian on Her 37^th Birthday, Octette Bridge Club, How the other Half Loves, The Boys Next Door and The Man Who Came to Dinner.  She has also directed one of her favorite plays, The Dining Room. Barbi and her real life husband have played opposite each other a number of times as in this lovely production.  They have one daughter, Jill-Ann, who resides in Salt Lake City, Utah; it’s not as far as SEATTLE, but it’s still too far away.
