Lakewood's
production of Outward Bound , directed by Eric
Jamborsky, opens April 13, 2007. It is the story of six
travelers awaking aboard a cruise ship headed for their
destiny. The travelers are guided on their journey by
Scrubby, played by long-time Lakewood veteran Tom Dolan.
The characters facing their destiny include: Mrs. Cliveden-Banks,
played by recent Lakie winner Wendy O'Neil; Reverend William
Duke - Lakewood favorite Wilson Reed; Harry and Ann, a
young couple played by Sam Mynhier and Natalie Ruffino;
Tammy Sutherland makes her debut at Lakewood as Mrs. Midget;
mother and son performers Patty and
John Carpenter portray Ms. Lingley
and Tom Prior. These characters must convince the Examiner,
Joel Meriwether, of their sterling qualities (if, in fact,
they had any).
The
production runs through April 28th. Friday and Saturday
performances are at 7:30, and Sunday matinees are at 2:30.
Tickets are $12 for adults, and $10 for seniors and
students. To make reservations, leave a message at 847-0934
with the number of tickets needed, and the date of the
performance you wish to attend. |
